Kino Volume 1 and future projects

Well...first I'd like to review the first volume of Kino as a whole (as I've just finished it).

It is such a solid release. I think that the first set of 4 episodes are riveting and creative, and surely pack this disc full of amazing-ness. Also, the main menu is fantastic, playing Shimokawa's "All the Way", a personal anthem of mine. The picture quality is great (even those little scanlines). I just love this DVD....and the white keepcase is a nice touch.

FUTURE PROJECTS:

Marmalade Boy. Yes...all 76 episodes....from the beginning. Granted...the manga was better...I think I might ant to watch the anime again. I'll dig out my scanslations tho, just to double check.

Kodocha. No...not all 102 episodes. I'm going to try and make this an ongoing project, starting with my 4 HQ fansub VHS tapes. I'll burn episodes for storage as they come in, and hopefully HOPFEULLY over the year, I'll get through this series again, seeing it in better quality than those awful Realplayer files from so long ago. The manga is amazing...and hopefully now that I'm older, I can appreciate the masterpiece of an anime even more.
